Adsense Terms of Service

Most blogs that make money are using Google Adsense. This is a great program! There are quite a bit of other advertising programs you can use on your site, but Adsense seems to pay the best.

When you apply for Google Adsense make sure you read their terms of service. There are a few rules that are CRITICAL that you follow. The first is, when they come to look at your site you cannot have any swearing, porn, gambling, violence, racism, etc.

The other most important things to know are, do not click on your own ads. Ever. Google knows everything. They will catch you and cancel your account. Once it’s canceled you’ll never be able to get another account. Pretty harsh.

Another rule is you cannot tell anyone to click on your ads. Basically, as long as your topic is not anything taboo, and your clicks are from legitimate visitors, you’ll be fine.

Some people try to cheat the system. They always lose. Always. To me, if you can make good money with Adsense without cheating, why would you ever want to screw it up?

Don’t skip reading the Adsense Terms of Service, it could end up costing you a lot, in the long run.
