New Idea

Ever since I passed the Google Adwords exam, I’ve been chomping at the bit for an idea to play with Adwords. I think I’ve found it.

My friend does sports paintings, really nice sports paintings. He can take any picture and turn it into a realistic looking painting. He’s extremely talented.

Well anyway, we were out for a beer last night catching up. I asked him if he was still painting. He said, all the time. Said he wasn’t selling too many. I asked where he was working and he said he had an “ok” job at xyz company.

So today, in the shower (all great ideas happen in the shower) I thought to myself, I have a unique product to sell. I know exactly how to sell it…online, with Adwords.

I’m thinking about creating a blog with pictures of all of his artwork as the front end. Use osCommerce for the shopping cart, and drive traffic with Adwords. I think it’s a hit.

Hopefully, he’ll make enough to paint full time, I’ll get a cut and we’ll both be happy. What’dya think?
