Firebug

Ever get confused by HTML, CSS or JavaScript? I know I do. But I found this great extension for Firefox, it's called Firebug. Firebug allows you to highlight certain parts of a website and view the underlying code that controls it. No more guessing what CSS controls what. Oh man is this sweet. This really is going to help me create better sites.

Check out Firebug for Firefox, it really is amazing. 

Related Post Plugin

I found the Related Post Plugin, and man did this thing save me some time! I used to do related posts by hand after every article. So not only was posting the article a chore but then you had to dig through everything and find 4 or 5 related posts.  read more »

Click Counter Plugin

Planet Ozh is a great blog about everything WordPress. I highly recommend giving his stuff a read when you get the chance.

One thing I noticed when I was over there today, is this thing called the Click Counter Plugin. It looks like it’s a plugin that will count clicks for all of your links. Very cool idea.  read more »

Google Sitemap Plugin

Sitemap Plugin

It is very important that you have a sitemap. It is even more important that you have a sitemap that is compatible with Google. A sitemap tells Google where all of your articles are.

I use this WordPress plugin that works really well:

Create a blank page in notepad, save it as sitemap.xml. Upload it to the root directory of your blog. You might have to give write permission to other. If you don’t know how, Google CHMOD.  read more »
